How to Troubleshoot a Disconnected C3X Reader

This article will show you how to reconnect a disconnected C3X Device

Best Practices for the C3X Reader: 

1. Keep each reader paired with the iPad it is initially connected to; avoid swapping them between iPads. We suggest labeling each reader with a unique identifier to link it to the iPad it initially connects to, ensuring they are not exchanged later on.

2. Allow the readers to enter sleep mode during periods of inactivity to preserve battery life; avoid manually turning them off. The readers are rated for thousands of transactions with a single charge - as long as you charge them each night, they should easily stay powered on for a full business day. 

3. If a reader is in sleep mode, tap the power button to reactivate it, and it will reconnect within 30 seconds.
