This article will explain how to print a bill from the checkout screen to allow for a customer to add their desired tip, as well as how the staff will add the tip left on that bill into Teesnap to collect.

1. For demo purposes, we're assuming the cart is already set with the correct items the guest is purchasing and we're looking to complete the transaction and add the tip. Once we've reached the checkout screen, we select "Credit" to process a credit card tender-type transaction.
2. We will use the card present option and tap on the green submit button.
3. Your customer will tap, insert, or swipe their credit card now, in this example we tapped the credit card.
4. After successfully tapping the credit card, you will see the call to action buttons, in this example, we're going to select the PRINT option. Your iPad must be paired with a Bluetooth receipt printer. This will print a tip and signature receipt (see example below).
5. You will notice at the bottom of the screen that this transaction moved to the enter tips screen and your app will return to an empty shopping cart.
6. To navigate to the enter tips screen, begin by tapping on the user icon in the top left corner of your application.
7. At the bottom of the user menu, select "Enter Tips".
8. You can now see the list of transactions that are waiting for a tip to be added, in our example we added a $5 tip and then clicked the green submit button at the bottom right corner of the screen. Be sure to match the transaction ID (Txn ID) on the app to the transaction ID on the paper receipt.
9. After pressing submit you will see a success message, repeat these steps to print a bill with a tip and signature line and add the tip to the transaction.
