Does Teesnap Have Backups of My Website?

YES. 

For all websites that are not hosted on Managed WordPress hosting plans, we do daily offsite backups of your website. Below are some frequently asked questions about this process. 

When Did You Last Back Up Our Site?

Usually, these updates are performed in the middle of the night so as not to interfere with site traffic and data usage during times when your customers are most likely to be looking at your site. 

How Quickly Can You Restore Our Site From a Backup?

Depending on the situation, it usually takes us 30-60 minutes to get your site back up and running from the most recent successful backup, usually from earlier that morning. 

We can typically restore your site within 24 hours or less of your request. 

Does Restoring a Site From a Backup Cost Anything?

For our Golf Marketing Services (GMS) clubs, we perform this free of charge. 

Is There Any Other Way to Restore My Site?

If your site is hosted by a web host that also does daily offsite backups - for example, SiteGround, WPEngine, or any company's managed WordPress hosting plan - they may be able to restore the site for you for free as well. Please contact your hosting provider directly if this is an option you'd like to explore. 

What If I Made Updates or Customers Made Purchases on My Site After the Last Backup?

Unfortunately, restore points only restore websites up until the backup point, and any new data added after that - including website changes, form registrations, and sales on your online store - will not be restored when we restore from that backup.

You should still have all of the details from any online store and form submissions in your emails, and you can recreate the order record for record-keeping purposes by going to WooCommerce > Orders > Add Orders. Recreating the order in WooCommerce will not charge your customer twice, as you can only charge your customer's card by running the sale through the Teesnap point of sale. 

How Do I Request a Website Restore From Teesnap?
