In this article, we walk you through how to set up a low-inventory email notification report.
1. From the Teesnap Admin portal, click Reports on the left-hand side of the page, then click Inventory at the top to open the customer's workbook.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to access the additional reports tabs, and click on the "Current Inventory" tab.
3. At the bottom of the page, click on the downward arrow to reveal more options, then choose "Schedule Report" from the list.
4. Select "Add Schedule" to create a new report schedule.
5. Recipient: Enter the email addresses of the recipients of this report.
Subject: Type in the desired subject line for the email notification.
Attachments: Set to Current Inventory.
6. Frequency: Select the frequency of this report. (For frequency based on conditional formatting see step 7)
Select: Customize Control Values
Controls: Search for Quantity-On-Hand
Max: enter the maximum stock-on-hand quantity of a product
7. Enable the Conditional Formatting option located at the top of the page.
In this example, we show you how to set up the report to only be sent if these conditions are met.
Send: If a condition is met
In Data Element: Current Inventory
Check If: Any Value
In Column: Quantity on Hand
Is: Less than or equal to
Value: enter the maximum stock-on-hand quantity of a product
8. Once complete, select Create.
9. To test the report select the menu icon and click Send Now.
10. The full stock on hand report indicates that there are currently 9 products with a quantity.
11. From the emailed report, it is evident that only 2 products meet the criteria of having a quantity on hand of less than 10.
