How to Reconnect a C3X Reader, Step by Step
This article will show you how to reconnect a disconnected C3X Bluetooth Device
To Reconnect CC Reader:
-
First, tap the CC Reader's power button to wake it up and check battery life. It's measured in quarterly increments — 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%.
-
If still red on the iPad, navigate to iPad settings > Bluetooth > Press the i near the CHB serial number to "Forget Device."
-
Navigate back into the Blue Teesnap C2X Application.
-
Press and hold the CC Reader's power button for about 10 seconds, until the LED lights scroll (or dance) left to right and right to left.
-
Upon seeing the Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up, pair it with the reader's 6 digits to secure a green light for successful processing.
Note: If it does not initially pair, and keeps popping up the Pairing Request, keep entering the pairing code until it goes away.
Note: If you arrive in the morning and the iPad Device Icon is red — do not panic. The reader is sleeping. Press on the reader's power button once to "wake" and the device icon will turn green again.
Note: The BT Pairing Request and Code ensure a sticky 1:1 connection between the iPad and the Reader. Please only use the one iPad connected to the one reader.
